![]() It's a great book filled with colorful pictures of healthy dishes and easy to follow recipes. I bought the "Hungry For Life" cookbook by Patti Zarate. We had time to walk around the restaurant and admire the display of awesome photographs on the walls and visit their gift store. Service was on the slower side due to the high volume of customers but the servers did a good job and did their best to keep with the pace of the busy restaurant. Both dishes were plentiful as well as healthy. The fourth time.touchdown! We checked the website, went early, found parking, knew what we wanted to order and we had all morning! We ordered the classic Homegirl menu items: the Chilaquiles and the Revueltos with their specialty house coffee (special blend of cinnamon and orange peel). The third time.we got here at 11:40 and couldn't find parking in their lot or on the street. The second time.we found out that on Mondays they close early due to trainings. It took us four attempts to get here but it was well worth it! The first time.we find out that the Homegirl Café is closed on Sundays.
